Peter is both an artist and wood turner who lives in the Mountains of North Carolina. He alternates time between his art studio and wood shop at his home on Grandfather Mountain. The banners at the top of each page are seasonal views from his home looking over Ridge Mountain. (Photos courtesy of Sherrie Spear)
His preferred art medium is watercolor. Many of his works reflect the beauty of the High Country of North Carolina and his interest in nature and animals. His wood turnings are generally made of exotic hardwoods with fine and natural finishes including wax harvested from his beehives. Some of the items in the gallery are available for sale, though mostly he does this for the love it.
He is a long-time resident of North Carolina but is originally from Liverpool in the UK.
